Materials techniques : for contrasting effects light French and exotic woods : burr ash or elm, flecked maple, satin wood, sycamore, walnut were used together with typpes of rosewood, mahogany, ebonny. Gilt bronzes.
Types of decoration : Contrasting marquetry with palmette motives. Everything is very stylised.
